Soulflags Art Community Center, located at 504 Main Street in Oregon City, was just awarded one of the METRO Enhancement Grants for Oregon City! Thank you!! Our project includes beautifying the east corner of Hwy 99E and Main Street with the creation of several mosaic panels displaying famous works of art altered to include an icon/landmark of Oregon City! These well-known images will be subdivided into 6”x6” bisque tiles that will be available to be painted by YOU at Soulflags Activity Corner at the Oregon City Festival of the Arts on August 14th-15th, sponsored by Three Rivers Artist Guild. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH THE LAST ONE! One winner will be selected per youth age group (10-12,13-15, 16-18, Adult 18+) receiving FREE Soulflags 5-CLASS General Passes!! The Grand Prize Winner will have your artwork recreated and displayed as a Mosaic Panel!! The winners of the contest will be determined by a panel of judges. All entries are due by July 30th at 5pm.
