CATHY ROWE!!!
Cathy is a local artist illustrator who chose to recreate Henri Matisse’s “The Dance” with pioneers and a background of the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, fitting for Oregon City, the ending point of the Oregon Trail.
Her design will be recreated into a mosaic panel that will be placed with others to beautify the intersection of Hwy 99E and Main Street in Oregon City!!
This image captures the way our community celebrates its pioneering history. Also included is Matisse’s “The Dance” for reference.
